Ms. Giunta brings over 30 years of professional work experience in both the corporate and government sectors. She held management positions with three major corporations in corporate responsibility, human resources, and EEO programs. Early in her corporate career, she gained invaluable experience by developing EEO/AA programs in response to an EEOC class action discrimination lawsuit filed against a major Chicago corporation. She developed an Internal Complaint Resolution Program (including a mediation component) applauded by the Federal Court, U.S. EEOC, U.S. OFCCP, and Illinois Fair Employment Practices Commission. She produced award-winning training programs on women in the workplace and minority business enterprises. Her corporate experience facilitated the formation of a management consulting firm with an impressive client list, such as General Motors, Oklahoma Natural Gas, and the U.S. Department of Transportation. Ms. Giunta authored Introduction to Corporate Social Responsibility Management. It was recognized as the first “how to” handbook for conducting an internal audit of corporate responsibility performance. She has been featured as a keynote speaker at numerous corporate, government, and public gatherings. Upon retiring from the private sector, she opted to give to public service with the U.S. EEOC, where she brought her expertise to serve in community outreach and training. Upon EEOC’s initiating its formal mediation program, Ms. Giunta served among the first group of EEOC mediators. She has mediated hundreds of cases with a successful resolution. Retired from EEOC, she offers consulting and mediation services.
